Hi, I’m Bre.

My dream in life is to visit all the United States’ National Parks and document them on Polaroid film (as well as digitally).

The highlight of each is trip is to be able to experience what makes each park unique and learn more about their significance—whether it’s historical, environmentally, or something else. Documenting my time in a National Park helps me connect with each location and remember the memories that were created.

Why on Polaroids? In all honesty, I was looking for an avenue to help make photography fun again. I wanted to not feel the pressure I had created for myself.

You can’t control everything (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc.) when it comes to Polaroid, and I needed that lack of control in my life. Now, it’s fun to not know how a photo is going to turn out immediately.

Before this focus on National Parks, I have worked for an advertising agency, multiple newspapers, the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay, and was named the 2016 Indiana College Photographer of the Year by the Indiana News Photographers Association.
