 Around 1 a.m. on May 29, 2015, the home of Tom Price and Pam Price caught fire. The Prices' injuries were mostly oxygen deprivation and they were intubated to restore oxygen to their system. The two were hospitalized at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis after the fire.

Jonze and Miller also directed a scene Letterman had done early in his career with two Ball State theatre students.

 Robin Blom, an assistant journalism professor, is training Charlie, a Yellow Labrador, on how to be a guide dog. That includes exposing him to different environments and house breaking. Charlie is not allowed to be petted by people when he is out learning and has his bandana on. Blom is training Charlie through the  Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester Hills, Mich. program.
