Hello, I’m Breanna Daugherty.

I'm a May 2017 Ball State graduate from the College of Communications, Information, and Media. I majored in photojournalism. I plan to return in August 2017 to attend the Department of Journalism Graduate Studies Program in the Media Analytics and Management program.

I am the former editor-in-chief, multimedia editor and assistant multimedia editor of the Ball State Daily News.

I was named the 2016 Indiana College Photographer of the Year by the Indiana News Photographers Association.

I am the former photo intern at the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel, through the Hoosier State Press Association Eugene S. Pulliam Internship Program for the summer of 2016.

I was elected by my peers to be the president of the NPPA Ball State Student Chapter after a few years of inactivity. I started the revitalization of the chapter and helped the first rendition of Shoot for Good - Muncie.

I was selected to be part of a team covering Indiana's Bicentennial Torch Relay for six weeks. I traveled to 19 counties in Indiana and documented the various forms of transportation for the torch.

I work to capture the story and emotion in all of my photos. Sports photography has become a passion of mine because I find it challenging to get the best shot.
